Portfolio

During my time spent working in Unity and Unreal I have built a wide range of projects all with varying genres, aesthetics and goals. From extreme hardware limitations to game studio sized group projects, my work on these projects has developed my skills and furthered my knowledge of game development through iteration through iteration and work on all aspects of development.

Volcanic Velocity – Repo

Built on a NUC, this project was focused on building a game from start to finish with harsh hardware limitations. Volcanic Velocity is a rally style racing game on a volcanic island with dynamic terrain with players racing for a long as they can without hitting any obstacles.

Burglar Battle! – Repo

4 Player split screen theft fueled extravaganza. A project made by over 40+ members focused on creating a fast paced and intense heist game, inspired by Monaco, set in a three segment dungeon. Players need to collect as much gold as they can and work together to solve puzzles and slow down their enemies.

Memories – Repo

A global game jam based around the theme “Roots”. The game follows a therapist, whose clients all have a myriad of issues, all deeply rooted within their fears, childhood experiences, and day to day thoughts. Created over a weekend it follows these patients as the player see it happen through their own eyes.

Terrain generation – Repo

Dissertation project focused on building a procedurally generated island that could be executed at runtime, complete with forests. The project features a number of in-project toggles and sliders to provide designers with a way to alter the way the map generates.

DOOM – Repo

A project centered around rebuilding DOOM within a new game engine such as Unity. Developed over the course of a month with dev logs created to show the development process.

Descent – WIP

Descent is a topdown 2D Mech Rogue-like taking inspiration from games such as Armoured core, risk of rain and enter the gungeon. While still in early development, work has been continuous on this project since the beginning of April 2024.
